A Peer Review of Digital Artefacts!

For BCM302 - Advanced Digital Artefact - I was joined for a large-scale peer review by Kai Ahern, Jess McNair, Coby-Ane Winter and Libby James. Our discussion turned out really enjoyable and insightful, it involved exchanging tips on where to push forward and where to hold back in our projects, though the size of the group made it hard to keep things moving quickly. Fortunately, with some post-production magic by Kai, we could cut it down considerably. We went around the radio room clockwise, each explaining our digital artefacts, highlighting both what we were enjoying and what was proving more difficult. It was my first time engaging with feedback in this format, and I found it to be a highly constructive way to refocus my work. Gaining insights from peers who all have prior and current experience with DA's helped me recognise shared challenges and better navigate my own project.

Personally there wasn't a huge amount of feedback relayed to me due to the fact I've already confirmed I'll be retiring my DA - Curiosity in Rising - in the coming weeks, my peers complimented my previous and upcoming work and noted I am leaving an impressive digital footprint. Together we all discussed ways to improve editing techniques, unanimously deciding Capcut was a great software option, as well as noting how useful hashtags are when promoting content for our Digital Artefacts. I feel positive after this peer review because of the positive feedback which was given to me and likewise the amount of feedback I gave to my peers was to a high level.
