About Joel

Joel has an expansive spectrum of experience throughout the beginning of his University studies and before. Commencing a Bachelor of Communications and Media in 2022 at the University of Wollongong, and doing an exchange semester abroad in 2023 at the University of Sheffield, his commitment and passion towards the Digital Marketing/Advertising industry is reflected in both his record and portfolio.

Creating a podcast series as a digital artefact assessment, Curiosity in Rising has entered charts on Apple Podcasts and Spotify internationally. He has showcased his forward thinking skills and adaptable nature through his participation in extra activities, notably his role as a co-host of the UOW Digital Media Society’s Gratifest Ball in 2023. He has an extremely creative nature which has come to life in the photoshoots that he has directed, his blog posts and the digital and graphic design work for his podcast series.

 

He aspires to attain a career in the creative marketing space. As he nears completion of his University course, he is exploring relevant internship programs and entry-level employment opportunities.
